This statue showed a significant build-up of dirt and surface contamination caused by prolonged exposure to outdoor conditions. Over time, the stone surface had become affected by dark deposits, organic matter and other contaminants that altered its appearance and made the sculpture\u2019s finer details less visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The cleaning was then performed gradually and under controlled conditions, directing the laser only at the areas requiring treatment. The applied laser energy removes surface contaminants without the use of chemicals, water or abrasive materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
